ReplyDeletethank you for sharing with us this fantastic resource of the OVP. the information in the page is great to share with parents and colleagues. It is absolutely true that parents are always worry preparing what their children need to get the best academic year;nevertheless, only few of them are worried about safety. As is stated in the Keep Children Safe, vigilance is the key to protect our children against violence. Parents need develop effective communication with their children and trust for their children inform what is happening in/and out of the school. Parents should be always alert of their children's behavior and personality changes to detect any problem that child is experiencing.
Recently I watched a TV show presenting a case where a child in elementary school was suffering the bullying from a classmates group. His parents instead of protect and support their child pushed him to respond with aggression. The child feeling lonely and desperate suicide finally.
I will share this resource with caregivers and parents to promote children safety.
